Panic in Sopore

Published at 01/06/2015 00:39:21     Dear Editor, The residents of Sopore from past many days are suffering from the breakdown of the communication system which has led to massive hit to the business establishment and students studying outside Kashmir. There is growing fear-psychosis in the town due to which resident’s even fear to come out of their homes. Although, there is calm in the town but the town has become a rumor mill with every sort of news coming from every corner of the town. The BSNL Exchange Office has stopped providing new SIM cards to already suffering customers and the higher authorities seem in no hurry to provide any relief to the customers. There are also rumors that there is curfew imposed by the Army in entire town after 9 pm, which has made it more difficult for the residents of the town to come out of their home late night.
